Whisky LIVE at the Games, now in its ninth year, returns to the 151st Scottish Highland Gathering and Games on September 3-4, 2016 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The event is sponsored by the Caledonian Club of San Francisco.
Alameda County Fairgrounds
4501 Pleasanton Ave, Pleasanton, CA 94566

Lots of fun and many samples to taste in Building P, an air-conditioned building in the fairgrounds.
Hosting crowds of 25,000 attendees from the entire Bay Area and visitors from Canada and the UK, the Games provide a fantastic built in exposure for the brands that is hard to match, resulting in over 2,000 paid attendees throughout the tasting.

This event serves a very diverse crowd, ranging from very new and introductory whisky drinkers to the true  aficionados, including the Pleasanton Malt Whisky Circle.
All events are well supported by the local retailers, often taking orders for premium bottlings at the event.  Yes, you can order your new favorite whisky in the tasting hall.
